安定して稼ぎ、配当も出す手堅い会社
巨大企業の信用力を裏付けにしながら、四半世紀前の金融設計がそのまま残っている生きた化石のような証券。個人が普通に買う対象というより、仕組みを理解した投資家向けのニッチな存在になっている。
この証券自体は事業を持たない。コムキャストのグループ会社が発行した社債として年2%の利息を受け取り、2029年の満期を待つ。発行時に定められた他の通信会社の株式価値に連動する交換条項を持つ、仕組みの込み入った証券になっている。
