財務データが揃わず、性格の分類はしていない
複数ブランドを並べる総合店だけでなく、パテック・フィリップやブライトリング、オメガ、モンブランの看板を掲げた単独ブランド店まで運営している。ブランド側から一店舗を丸ごと任される立場は、棚を借りるだけの小売とは意味が違う。

2017年に米国事業のMayorsを英国の宝飾大手Aurumへ$135Mで売り、カナダ一国に絞った。2025年7月には逆に、トロントで4店舗を持つEuropean Boutiqueを$10.8Mで買っている。撤退と買収を使い分け、売り場の数そのものを動かす経営が続いている。
扱う高級時計ブランドから正規販売店の地位を維持できるかに商売の根が張っている。ブランド側が直営に切り替えたり契約を見直したりすれば、その店の売上がまるごと消える。
Birks Groupは自社ブランド「Maison Birks」の宝飾品を売る老舗という印象を持たれがちだが、店に並ぶ品の多くは他社の時計だ。ロレックスやカルティエ、パテック・フィリップを扱うだけでなく、ブランドの看板をそのまま掲げた単独店まで任されている。
